Considered by many as one of the best Sudanese artist based in Kenya, Salah Ammar is a must for a complete collection of Eastern Africa contemporary art.
Movement is a main aspect in his work – especially as practiced in African dances.
He is a holder of a BA from the College of Fine Arts, Sudan University of Science and Technology. I have exhibited my work both locally and internationally, and have participated in numerous workshops across East Africa. He has exhibited since 1993 in Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Canada, France, The Netherlands, U.K. and Germany.
Salah was born 1963 in Elduem, Sudan, and is currently based in Kenya.
