Jes’se’s work is about liberated artistic expression. Using his talent, he hopes to validate freedom of though – through public exhibition of his works, to inspire others to express themselves creatively through art – In particular the less fortunate, including street-children and the mentally ill (from whom he draws inspiration as an artist.)
He has drawn great motivation from Jean Basquat, the American Great.
Jes’se is currently the artistic director of Kuruka Maisha School of Arts. The organisation assists street children from less fortunate backgrounds by teaching them new skills in art.
He has exhibited in Kenya, Denmark, Tanzania and the USA.
He is also a cartoonist.
Between 2006 and 2007, he was the Secretary at Schizophrenia Foundation of Kenya (S.F.K.) in Nairobi, Kenya.
